Officially Waiting
Well, sort of officially waiting. My OB/GYN has a copy of our profile in case someone comes in her office and wants to put their child up for adoption. We're also going through our local Lutheran Family and Children's office and I mailed our application this morning. It's so hard to believe that someone could walk into my OB's office at any time and we could get "the call". I'm not getting all excited, though. She said it's very rare, maybe twice a year, that someone comes through their office wanting to put their child up for adoption, but it's still another step closer!!!
