Hey everyone,
I see you've all got the monday blues, since no one's been here. I'm almost done work for the day, only half an hour more. But I have more work to do at home so what's the difference. LOL Only 3 more days until I leave to SF!!! I can barely contain my excitement. It's going to be so nice to have a getaway. Anyway, not much to tell, I'll stop by tomorrow. Stacy

You better post some pictures of your trip to San Fran,Stacy.....
I hear it is beautiful there!! Are the Monday blues gone yet?Now that I have posted I bet they are... Are you girls into scrap booking? I think I have become an addict...I even have my girls scrap booking now.Chelsea is planning to take a class soon....Brooklynn loves to help me put stickers on a page.....It is so cute.... I told mom I want scrap book stuff for Christmas instead of Clothes this year.Now I know I am a scrap book addict.hehehe Have a nice evening...I have a packed week so I wont be back on until the weekend.I have to work the next two days,and then I have a booksigning on Thursday.This is officially my second book signing.I am also going to give a presentation about adoption.I am trying to promote National Adoption Awareness Month!!My 7 year old daughter is going to give a little speech after mine about how much she loves being adopted....It really is sweet.She has written it.I helped her only with the ending.I will post it for you .....

Okay girls....here is a copy of her sweet little speech.I am so proud of her for working so hard on this.She even has classmates coming to see her.She drew some pictures portraying how precious adoption is for families.Of coarse,she had to add her scrap booking and stamping extras...
Hi. My name is Chelsea.I am 7 years old and I am in the 2nd grade.I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a purple belt in karate.I am a great dancer,and I am in my 5th year of dance.I am just starting guitar lessons.I love to swim and play tennis during the summer.I am special because I am a both a big sister and a little sister. I like being the middle child because I have somebody to watch after me, and I have somebody to watch out for. I will always protect my little sister. I am adopted, and am very special. My friends in kindergarten did not understand how special adoption is. They would say to me,” Oh Poor Chelsea…She was taken away from her parents.”I had to teach them that adoption is just another way God builds families.My parents are right with me everyday.Adoption is really no different than being born into a family.Except my mom says God Spent A Little More Time On Me.That song is my mom’s song for me. I celebrate adoption and I celebrate life.I want you to celebrate Family and Adoption… Thank you!!

stacie, sounds like you and your kids are busy with the books, how exciting. nice letter
stacy, i have never been to san fran!! how exciting. i have a new funny tommy story: last night i had to call disney world to book a character breakfast for our vacation, so i told tommy to be quiet while i was on the phone with disney world. he sat quietly next to me and as soon as i started talking he said "which character is it?" he was so excited!!! he thought a character answered the phone i cannot wait till we go. last night we made a paper chian with 87 links and i wrote special messages about our vacation on them and each day he gets to take one down until we leave. he was so excited to show ava when she woke up this morning.

Good Morning ladies,
Stacie, I love scrapboking! I'm way behind, but I'll try and catch up during the winter months. Now that I have two kids, it's way harder. I love your daughters speech, it's so good, I can't believe she did that all by herself. Mckenna, Tommy is so funny. I love your paper chain idea, that is so cool. Nothing much new around here. Asher is doing great on potty training! They are both talking my ear off, all day long. LOL Just when the kids are totally driving me insane, they will do or say something so cute that I can't help but melt. Anyway, only 2 more days until my trip!!!!! I can barely wait, and I will post pictures when I get back. Stacy

that was hilarious  Stacie, very cute speech by Chelsea And yes, I like to scrapbook. I did one for Kaden's first year and I will do one for Ivy's as well. After that though, I am lazy and just go to standard photo albums. I don't have it in me to scrap everything! I am not patient enough.All's well here. The rain finally let up, so that is a nice break. I am trying to work, but it is like pulling teeth...I'd rather do anything else and be anywhere else...ugh. I am tired - I think I have TUESDAY blues I always think Tuesdays are worse than Mondays, because you aren't fresh off the weekend, but you have no end in sight either. At least some good shows are on tonight!!! Biggest Loser, My name is Earl and the Office. |

Have just a couple of minutes before it is time for miss Natalie's bath Stacy -can't wait to hear about your trip to San Francisco. Have tons of fun! Did you get your present to your cousin(?- i can't remember) done? Jess- I cannot wait, wait, wait for your news that Miss Ivy has arrived and darn it she better be a girl Sorry you are so tired.
