Can I just say, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! This is such fun - what a pick me up after that rainy inspection! The dairy was actually quite nice and I didn't end up covered in poo.

You guys are doing pretty well on my quiz! yeah!!! My very own quiz! Cathy nice job on my boy's middle name You were also fully right on #1, 8 and 9. Oh and 11 too I guess - I don't really even know the total answer to that one. So, my point is you guys are sucking it up on some of the answers. LOL! I am NOT a dairy inspector! That was just part of my job today. And HAHAHA I am insulted about the minivan!!! What kind of soccer mom do you think I am? he he he...I only have one baby - isn't a minivan supposed to come later? McKenna, aside from putting me on the other side of this continent, you did QUITE well on the quiz. Nice job. And Darci - I never expected you to know some of those - good job. Everyone did better on parts than I expected!

ok ok ok...I must admit, none of you was very far off.

I am 5' 3 3/4" (short people still count fractions), I weigh more than I should (although, I'm still pretty hot! LOL)...I wear the average women's size, so if you know what that is... hazel eyes (hazel most of the time, VERY VERY green when I cry or when I wear green), just below shoulder length hair (I think it is auburn naturally...maybe just medium brown. Cant really remember as I started dying it when I was 12)...and yes, it is naturally VERY curly (I'm 25 and have LOTS OF RINGLETS!!! OY!). My complexion...I'm as pale as Casper's butt! And, if I'm not careful, I grow a very nice Unibrow! LOL.

Sorry, i haven't checked in yet today. I was at work and we don't have computers yet (Tues & Fridays are my work days- I work as a leasing agent for an apartment community) -we are supposed to get them next month -yay!!!!! -then i'll be able to check in more frequently!

So here's my weird story for the day:
I think I've told you all that we had a disrupted placement about three weeks or so ago. Well, my hubby was at work today -he works in a restaurant as a general manager- and who should come in to apply for a job but our former birth mother. The owner of the restaurant was talking to her and when he came to get Tim to talk to her -Tim said he couldn't because of who she was, so his boss talked to her briefly and took her resume & application. We had never told where exactly we work because we weren't fully disclosing all our info. So isn't that weird? Holland, MI isn't a big city but it is big enough you would think maybe we wouldn't have to see her. It totally freaked me out when he told me. I asked if she had the baby with her but he said no.

We haven't heard anything yet about the sibling group I'm hoping we will before the holiday.

mckenna- I got the packet today, I haven't had a chance to look at it yet but I will tonight.

jess- hope you had fun at the health class! It is neat that you can share your experience with high schoolers.

Stacy- Personally I like Target better than Walmart, but maybe that is because our Walmart is kind of trashy -it is cheaper but I usually like the stuff at Target better.

Darci - your daughter is soooo cute.

Erin that's so freaky, I can't believe she came to his restaurant for a job. Your husband must have felt very uncomfortable. Excuse me but I can't remember but I'm assuming that she decided to parent, right? Anyway, that's too bad, you would hope not to run into her anywhere, hopefully it doesn't happen again. Did she see him?

I'm not sure if she saw him or not. He said he tried to keep out of sight because it felt so awkward. Yes, she parented at the end. From what we heard from our sw, she was taking the full 12 weeks allotted here for leave but very few places pay for that whole time and we heard she was doing okay but not great, the birthfather had told her he wanted nothing to do with this situation -they hadn't really had a relationship.

It is just soo crazy. I felt like I was finally not thinking about her and her daughter (the baby) and this brought it all to the forefront. And now Tim knows how to get ahold of her from the resume. I know we won't but it is just so strange.
