Liz: Congradulations!!!!!!!!! Yahooo!!!!! Way to go!!!!

Darci: Ouch, that is a lot of money! I like the idea of a family gift; look for a game the whole family can play or create your own gift basket filled with little things that can be for the whole family. There are a lot of cool things out there; you don't have to spend that much on one side of the family. ALso, you don't want to set up an expectation this year and can't maintain it another year.

This is my first year with my daughter; we are having Christmas here. I don't know what to buy her! We ordered a tree, and have decorations and stuff.

Stacy: You are right; Christmas is around the corner. I need to start making a list.

Jewel
p.s. Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning everyone!

Liz, I'm still so excited for you, congratualtions again! Only one more day.

I need an opinion: My cousin (the one I'm going to visit in SF) and I are best friends. She's been travelling a lot and I haven't seen her in a year. She's now applied for Doctors without Borders and got an interview the other day. I know she'll be going. So I wanted to get her a very special christmas present this year. She is a gifted writer and has written poems and short stories over the years, all of which I've kept. I've phoned around and found someone to print and bind them in a hardcover book. Do you think that this is a special gift or is it stupid?

Anyway, give me your opinions.

Talk to you all later.

Stacy

Stacy - sounds like a very special gift to me. It's thoughtful and shows just how highly you think of her writing ability.

Thanks, Mckenna and B. I'm sure she'll love it.

Nothing new here. My foot is still in a cast boot but it's not hurting that much anymore. And my eye infection is gone so I'm happy about that!

Today is the day that Liz is getting baby Chandler so here's wishing you good luck today, I'm thinking about you!!!! We can't wait to see pictures and hear the rest of the story.

Hey everyone!

First off a big Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!to liz. How excited you must be. Just one request, don't leave us hanging too long. We can't hold our breath much longer. Enjoy!

Stacy, sorry to hear about your foot. My son Tucker, broke his in a football game this month. I thought those boot thingys were pretty cool too. He was glad to take it off and shower too. My nephew broke his arm really bad playing football this month too, and another neice, only six years old fell off her horse and broke her leg in four places between her knee and thigh. both the neice and nephew needed surgery. (the same day!) Thankfully Tuckers wasn't that bad.

Oh yeah, great gift idea. I only wish i was as creative as you to think of those things.
She will love it.

We have been having the most wonderful fall weather ever. I have had a really hard time staying inside. I did get my house cleaned from top to bottom though. If only it would stay that way.

Got the cutest letters from our foster daughters. Their "laktrisud" was out. "electricity" Isn't that the cutest thing you ever read.

Will check in later. "hi" everyone

just kidding, but we do need more details, you know how nosey we all are!

i am such a clutz, listen to what i did today
me and 4 co-workers are walking to a little grocery i have my hands in my pocket, trip on a split sidewalk and fall. i have no hands to brace with as they are stuck in my pockets. i don't want to land on my face so i roll a little to land on the upper back shoulder area. well, i must of knocked the wind out of me cuz i almost fainted. so here i am sitting on the sidwalk in the middle of lunch hour down town, a cop walks up to make sure i am ok, i can't go anywhere cuz everytime i go to stand up i see stars and almost faint. they called someone from the office to come get me. i am feeling better now, but i am goig to be sore in the morning.

Stacie, I loved the pics from the adoption fair. I bet your son was so proud to be signing books, that's awesome.

How was everyone's halloween? Nicolas dressed up as Buzz and asher was woody, they looked so darn cute, I could barely stand it. They loved trick or treating. We only went to my families houses, cause the kids are still small, it ended up being about 12 houses and they still ended up hauling in a load of candy. It was fun, I'll post some pictures of them in their costumes when I get them developed. For now here's some of them playing in the leaves.

I e-mailed these to some of you but I don't have all your addresses.

Stacy, the pictures are so cute. I can't wait to see the Halloween ones. I missed having little kids to take trick or treating this year. I think it was the first time since about 1985. Whoa, I guess I really am getting old.

Stacie, sounds like a fun time with your son. That will definately be a special memory for you both. Did you take yours out for halloween?

Did I miss hearing from Liz? Is she home with her new baby now? Someone fill me in, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE

Man this place is dead around here. What is everyone up to?

b, did you guys trick or treat? Your son is at a great age for that. Halloween was my favorite holiday when I was a kid. I think the dressing up and deciding what to "be" was the most fun. I know alot of people don't let their kids trick or treat anymore because of the "evil" side of the holiday but I am sure glad my parents let us.

Do you all think that kids are using their imaginations less than we did when we were young? I was reading something about that the other day. Some kids don't even know how to play outside. We didn't have TV when we were young so I think that made us use our imaginations more. Of course I do think that TV time can be controlled now. Its not that i am against it or anything. We live so far up in the boonies that we only get TV if we have a satelite dish and right now it isn't hooked up. It gets expensive and ends up being four hundred channels of nothing. I do miss some of my reality shows though.

Wow , I am not sure where all that came from but at least there will be some new reading. hee hee

Talk to you all later.

Stacy -- Asher and Nic are adorable! I can't believe how big Asher is now.

Liz -- CONGRATULATIONS! Chandler is ADORABLE!

Our update: Trinity is having fewer and fewer digestive issues these days which is good. Makes for a much happier baby. She is now 2 months old and at her dr appt last friday was 11 lbs 13 oz and 23.5 inches. She still fits in her newborn clothes but is able to wear most of her 0-3 month clothes now too (even if I have to roll sleeves and pant legs). Unfortunately the doctor is concerned about her hearing -- and quite frankly we are too. She doesn't appear to hear anything at all , and we are waiting for Childrens Hospital to call to set up a hearing test. We are hoping that she is not deaf, but if she is we will deal with it. We are also still in wait and see mode about her neck/back issues. She is VERY strong though and pushes herself around with her feet and rolls over already.

Anyway, it's dinner time so I have to go. I will post halloween pics of the kids later since all the pics are on the other computer.

The pictures of the kids are great. My gang had a great time Trick-or-Treating. The rain held off until about 630pm. By then, I had loaded the kids in the van to visit friends' homes in other neighborhoods.

Darci - Did the doctor check to see if Trinity is retaining extra fluid in her ears? Glad to hear her digestive system is starting to stabilize. When I picked up Little O, he was one day short of six months and weighed 12 lb. 15oz.
