Sorry I didn't get around to the quiz yesterday but I will do it right after this post.

Mckenna, That's great about the grandparents. I have one question though. If Lilly is going to go back to her parents then doesn't the grandma want something to do with her seeing as she's going to be back in the family? I don't know how you do it. I don't think I could ever be a foster parent because I have a huge chip on my shoulder about lily and tommy's family and I don't even know the half and I'm not dealing with it. I have to give you credit cause I don't think I could keep my cool.

Stacey let me take a nap right after work yesterday and he made supper. I was so happy. I slept until 7:00pm and then of course I couldn't sleep at bedtime but hey, it was a much needed nap.

stacy, lily and tommy's mom has made a lot of bad choices over the past 20 years. she did a lot of drugs has been homeless, made a lot of bad men choices ect, ect. i think grandma finally gave up on her. after they found out mom was preg. with lily while tommy was still in foster care, i think she just threw her hands up and said that's it. that is when they decided not to take tommy and that was also around the last time they saw him. now, only grandpa and steven see her. i think grandma does not want to keep getting her hopes up that bmom has changed and then being disappointed yet again. i don't really blame her for being done with bmom but the kids have never done anything and deserve to know thier bfamily if at all possible. i don't think gm will ever see lily even if she goes back to mom. i know it is a messed up situation. sometimes, i wake up and wonder how i ever got in the middle of all this craziness. can't wait for the quiz

Morning! It is a happy day yet again...hubby cleaned gutters yesterday without even being asked and I went to my office christmas lunch and my boss gave me an unexpected bonus!!! All is well here!! Today hubby and I are going to go to Lord of the Rings - we are SO excited. So, I won't be around much today, but I am here and I will DEFINITELY take the quiz! But this movie is 3 1/2 hours long!!

Angela you crack me up - my husband is ADD like that and I died laughing when you said that about yourself...reading your posts is like talking to my hubby! All over the board...but I LOVE your excitement over Christmas. I like it too, but I am trying to keep my expectations in check because I have quite a problem with always being disappointed...and I don't think this Christmas is going to be terribly exciting. I don't think it is going to feel a ton like Christmas. My brother and his whole family are overseas, my grandparents aren't alive for this first Christmas, it is just going to seem SO quiet! And then on Christmas we don't get to go to my relatives anymore, because hubby's family decided to all get together after all...so as much as I do like them, it just isn't the same and with all the drama going on lately with his stupid little sister and her bad choices, I am just afraid this might be kind of a wierd holiday! So, I am trying not to get too excited...plus I don't think I will really get any presents, and although that totally isn't what Christmas is all about, it is a little awkward when you are with a group of people and brought presents for everyone but don't really have anything to open yourself. Hubby's family is sweet, but not very thoughtful sometimes...fortunately, I think (hope!) some will buy Kaden things, so that will be fun and I can open those.

Well, I didn't mean to go off there...I think I am just trying to tell myself to be properly prepared, because I HATE being a spoil sport and our last Christmas with hubby's family a few years ago was a royal disaster! but, it should be a lot better now.

McKenna - SO cool about gpa and bro coming over to visit the kids - that is Wonderful! Sorry gma can't bring herself to join them...so sad! Still, progress is being made - that's great news!

Ok that's all for me - better get dressed and ready for my date!

Ok I stink at quizzes, Oh Jess I feel for you with the family thing, we too have had our share of disappointing holidays. I love my dad but sometimes he drives me nuts, and I he will not be visiting until after Christmas, I feel guilty but man he drove nuts at Thanksgiving, the story is long and complicated, but I feel where you are coming from. I am personally just looking forward to just the 3 of us on Christmas morning as I am sure you are too. Now its's raining here ughhhhhhhhhh!

Okay Stacy your quiz was almost as hard as Jess's- maybe I'm just not paying enough attention when I watch movies

Work is very quiet. I have everything done and I still have 3.5 hrs to go

Have fun at Lord of the Rings- I haven't seen all of any of them! I tried to watch the first one and got bored about 1-2hrs in. I've only seen snatches of the second one when my husband is watching it.
