Ethan was born on 7/28 after a long and arduous labor for our bmom. She is an incredibly strong young woman and I continue to be amazed by her.
He is beautiful and healthy-- almost 12 lbs already and 23" long! He literally grows overnight. An outfit that fits today could very well be too small tomorrow! We spent several days out of state to complete the necessary paperwork and we spent almost all that time with the birthfamilies. We really got to know each other -- especially the parents of the birthparents. They are all wonderful people and love Ethan very much as do we. I'm a MOM! |

Congratulations!
This is wonderful news. I think it is great that you were able to develop such a good relationship with the birth Grandparents as well.

Congratulations, I know you must be over joyed. It think it is wonderful that you have developed an open relationship with your adopted child's birth family. I wish I had the same when I was growing up. I hope you will continue to be open to a relationship with them for your adopted baby's sake. He will need it more than you know. I love that you called his birth mother "our Bmother." I think that shows what a true love and apreciation you have for your new son. I wish you the best. Keep his needs first and you will all have a wonderful life.
Much love, an adoptee |
