Why So Negative?

Cortonagirl,

Have you adopted from Utah? I only ask because you seen to feel strongly and negatively about adopting from Utah. I find it hard to believe you have adopted from all agencies in Utah and that you had negative experiences in all of them. You seem to have a narrow and biased view and I hope that others aren't swayed by it.

Chris,

I live in Utah and I am thouroughly enjoying the experiences I am having. There are many agencies here: An Act of Love, A TLC Adoption, A Cherished Child Adoption Agency, Adopt an Angel... just to name a few. I personally have not used these agencies so I do not know if they are great or not, but I would never discourage anyone from persuing all thier options. I am personally adopting through LDSFS an agency for LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) adoptions. There are many hispanic children placed with them so I can only imagine it will be the same with other agencies in the state. We have a wonderful and large hispanic population here.

Chris Good Luck on you adoption journey!

Why so negative

You mention some decent agencies in Utah, and it is a good state to adopt in. However, I think she must of had a bad experience with one, and would rather not reveal it. She has a right to voice her opinion, so don't be so hard on her!

My post was no more harsh or hard that hers. She was quick and judgemental and I gave my opinion on that.
