My son was born 5/12/85 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta. I went through Family's First and the only information that I have from my counselor at the time is that his adoptive parents had no other children and that they were going to name or call him by initials. I have posted several postings on several sites and have went to Google off and on and searched his birthday. I found through Google who I believe to be my son. His name is C.J. Bressoud and he grew up only 20 minutes from my house. When I looked at his picture it looks just like me. Is there any way to find out if C.J. Bressoud is adopted. His adopted father's name is Charles Bressoud and they live in Kennesaw Georgia. I just want to know if he is my son. He has done very well for himself in baseball and I am proud of him. Looking at his eyes is like looking into my own soul. I did not give him up because I didn't want or love him, I did it because I loved him so much. It will remain the hardest decision that I will ever have to make in my life and I miss him daily. Please let me know if you can help me.

I am a F adoptee born 1-12-1973 at Crawford Long Hospital in Georgia. My non-id info states my mother stayed in a maternity home although I do not know which one. I see a lot of adoptees that were born at Crawford Long had mothers who stayed at Florence Crittendon and am wondering if this is a possibility I should research. I know my ** was from Florida and my BF was from N. Carolina, if it helps I am also bi-racial and was adopted by an all black family. I look forward to hearing from you and welcome any advice you have to offer.

I would definiantly try that option if i were you. I would also contact the adoption registry in georgia. try going to heartsofadoption.com they are areally good place they might even be able to help you. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

Born Jan 25 1951 Bush Hospital in Columbus Georgia. However, I can not find out what ever happened to the records from the hospital when it was torn down in mid 70's.

My father was born June 15, 1941 in Decatur, GA and died in May 2001. He was adopted by Wilbur and Jane Couseller of Cleveland, Ohio, both also deceased. I don't even know where to start but have always felt a need to know since I was a child. My father once said his birth name was Paul- that's it. He said he didn't care to know anything. Where do I go from here?

Have you tried talking to some of the adoptive parents family to see if there is any paper work on the adoption. Go through the state that he was born in for the year that he was born birth records. Yes please help me! My father was adopted in Atlanta, Ga sometime in 1959. His birthdate is 06/01/59. His birth certificate says that he was born in Atlanta, GA. He is said to have 8 brothers and sisters. I am really interested in finding them no matter what. If you could help me I would be forever greatful. If you cannot, thanks so much for your time.

Was adopted from Catholic Social Services in Charlotte, Nc in 1983... Birthmother was 19 at time. Only medical history I know of is breast cysts and breast cancer... father left town shortly afterwards. I know she was short and that she requested that I be placed with a family that would raise me Catholic. The month I was adopted was in January.. Can u help me? thanx
