FA ISO BFamily born 05-12-69 Atlanta, GA
Female adoptee, born 5/12/69, Atlanta, Ga at Crawford Long Hospital. Birth name, Cassandra Marie Cloud.
Listed below is the important non-id information that was given to me by the State of Georgia Reunion Registry. If you have any information that might help me locate any of my birth family, it would be greatly appreciated! =========================================== I was born May 12, 1969 at 2:35 P.M. at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. I weighed 7 pounds 9 1/2 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches in length. My birth mother received prenatal care from a Health Department Clinic beginning in her 6th month of pregnancy. She carried me 38 weeks, and named me "Cassandra Marie". My birth mother signed a release on May 15, 1969 granting custody to the State Department of Family and Children Services. I joined my foster family on May 15, 1969. My foster family consisted of a middle-aged couple that had 2 daughters, ages 7 and 9. I joined my adoptive family on June 5, 1969. My birth mother was 22 years old at the time of my birth. She was not married. She was of German, Irish, and English descent and of the Catholic faith. She had brown hair, dark blue eyes, and a fair complexion. She weighed 125 pounds and was 5 feet 9 inches tall. She completed one and a half years of college and worked as a telephone operator and in the secretarial field. She enjoyed interior design, art, sewing, and drama. The caseworker described her as a "tall, slender, willowy girl who appeared very attractive". She was interested in pursuing a career in interior design and "definitely had the potential to achieve such, as well as many other goals". She was a "soft spoken girl but sensitive and serenely attentive to the needs of others". My birth mother's mother was 48 years old at the time of my birth. She had dark brown hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. She weighed 140 pounds and was 5 feet 7 inches tall. She completed high school and was a housewife. She enjoyed art, ceramics, sewing, and knitting. My birth mother's father was 49 years old at the time of my birth. He had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. He weighed 145 pounds and was 5 feet 10 1/2 inches tall. He completed three years of college. He served in the Air Force for 29 years and was a Major. He enjoyed young people and his "radio operated shooting team". My birth mother had three brothers. One was an 18-year-old brother with brown hair, vivid blue eyes, and a fair complexion. He weighed 175 pounds and was 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was a college freshman majoring in engineering. He enjoyed all sports and was a "rifle expert". And she had two 12-year-old brothers that were fraternal twins. They had blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair complexions. One weighed 85 pounds and was 4 feet 11 inches tall. The other weighed 100 pounds and was 5 feet 2 inches tall. They were students in the 6th grade. They were "eager and intelligent". They, too, enjoyed riflery. My birth father was 30 years old at the time of my birth. He was married. His wife was not my birth mother. He was half Indian and half German descent and of the Catholic faith. He had light brown hair, blue eyes, and a ruddy complexion. He weighed 145 pounds and was 5 feet 7 inches tall. He completed high school and "specialized training in optics school". He served in the Army for two years. He worked as an optician. He enjoyed outdoor sports, jewelry making, music, and art. My birth father "grew up on an Indian reservation until his early teens and was a direct descendant of a prominent Indian Chief'. His father died when he was four years old and relatives raised him, as his mother returned to a city to live with her family. He later joined her but "they did not get along well and he was 'on his own' by his teen years". He enjoyed arts and crafts, as well as classical music, very much and had quite a talent in each field. My birth father had two children prior to my birth. His children were one-year-old identical twin girls. They had blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair complexions. |
