I just want to leave everyone a quick note letting you all know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I have been in a long battle trying to get my son's father's rights terminated so my husband can adopt him. Well, on Sept. 11th the judge signed the order terminating his rights. We have a court date of Dec. 16th for the final adoption. Obviously since the Bio dad no longer has any rights we won't have any problem getting the adoption. My husband will have a terrific Christmas present. So no matter how impossible it seems, don't quit trying! These are our children and they deserve the best! Good Luck to all!
