birth mom revoking consent
A friend would like his current wife to adopt his two children. He has had sole custody since the children's mother left and they divorced 7 years ago. The mother has signed the consent form and agreed to the adoption and it has been filed at the court. Now her mother (maternal grandmother) wants her to stop the process. Please reply if you have any insight on how to get this adoption to go through. Both children understand and approve of the adoption. Can the mother revoke her consent?
