Help calm us down. My husband and I started adoption procedings hired a lawyer and all that fun now I hope it is not in vain. My 5 yr old twins Biodad hasnt seen them in 3 years no support nothing. He knows where my entire family is and his mom and wife have gone to my mother's place of business. Never once asking about the kids mind you. Now people are telling me that if biodad wants to see the kids and contest the adoption that we probably couldnt stop him and the adoption may not go through. Isn't 3 years long enough to prove that he really has no intrest in the kids. Has anyone out there had a similair scenario and if so how did it turn out? Please any info would be great. Our lawyer is one of those quiet don't tell you much types so she doesn't help much

You have a good case. Especially here in Florida. It's time for you to demand answers from your lawyer tho, this isn't the time to sit quietly by, there is too much at stake. You're paying her... you need to get answers from her.
