Hi all!
I am a wife of a US Marine, stationed here in KY. We want to go ahead with the adoption of my 5 year old. He was born in Africa and his dad has never done a thing support-wise or tried to keep in touch. His name is not on his birth certificate and I have NO idea where he is. Does anyone know a good reasonable attorney I can contact? Does this sort of thing have to go through a lawyer or is it something one can do by themselves with the right forms? We just moved from CA and it is that way there is why I ask. I dont even know where to begin, do any of you have any advice to point me in the right direction? Thanks |
