As for the parent who doesn't pay child support, and still gets visitation rights, that's a typical response from a judge. Just remember one thing, the custodial parent who doesn't receive child support has more leverage. Why haven't you filed a Petition for Delinquent Child Support. If not having the money to get an attorney is the problem, then file "Pro Se". You have that right. No judge is going to argue with you on this. As long as you're not in contempt of visitation, your ex won't have a leg to stand on. You may not like it, but allowing your child visitation is the best thing you can do. Using the child as leverage will only cause problems later down the road.
