Investigation
Does anyone know what the investigation by the courts consists of? My hubby wants to adopt my son, but we want to know what the investigation means first.
Thanks! |

we haven't done ours yet, but from what i have heard. someone comes into your home and makes sure it is a safe place for the child to live. it isn't so much of a dust test or anything like that but more of something where they come in and make sure the kids have rooms and stuff like that. i think the main thing with step parent adoption is that they take everyone one by one, even the kids if they are old enough, and do a little interview with them.
