How do I finish?

I started the procedings to have my birth daughter adopted to her step-father. I paid for the services, completed the termination of parental rights and my lawyer moved out of state. This was several years ago when I lived in Des Moines, IA. Now I live in North Carolina, and my daughter was born in Arizona. My husband was offered a position in Canada, and as soon as the immigration goes through we will be moving north. I would like to finish the adoption before we move out of the country but am out of funding. Is there any way I can do this on my own and where do I start looking for the forms to file?
