Will the adoption process be difficult or expensive? Also, my new husband has a daughter but her birth mother is deceased. Is it true that because I am married to her father, that I am considered legally to be her mother. Do I have to adopt her to be her legal mother? We both love these children and we cannot have a child together. We just want to be a family. How do we go about doing this, or is it even possible?
