The 11 yo never wants to talk about adoption, I am always puzzled why he is so closed about it. I don't want to dwell on it so I just let it go by. I think that is great! I just adopted two girls and I have anxiety about what their feelings are since they are kind of young right now. My 6 year old seems to resent me a little some times because I think she blames me for not being able to see her birth Mom anymore and it worries me. I hope your continue to be the happy and loving daughter that you are!!!

Could you tell us that things were not confusing for you or not at that age (if you recall) and do you mind telling us why you had been adopted at 3? Did it take some time to adjust to your parents..Please reply only to what you feel you want to of course!
