Adoptions in Oklahoma?
Has anyone here adopted through the Oklahoma foster care system?
My hubby and I are moving there and will start the process once we get there and are curious as to how it went for other people!  Thanks!

We adopted through the SWIFT adoption program about 3 years ago. It went very quickly, and smoothly. I have friends who are currently in the process of adopting through DHS, and things seem much slower for them. I think it depends a lot on what region you are in, and what worker you get.
When are you coming here? Our church sponsors a symposium twice a year that offers information on this process. The next one will be in Nov. Feel free to pm me. I'll answer any questions I can.
