Hey everyone.

I have a friend who currently has guardianship of a 3 year old. She has had guardianship for almost 2 years now with no word from his Mother.
Come to find out -- TPR was granted on 3 of her older children.
She is worried that she will have a problem when she goes to court.
So my questions are:
What does she need to do to get the ball rolling?
Will she run into any problems?
She has expressed interest in finding and contacting the aparents of the older children as they are Goober's 1/2 siblings. How would she go about this?

Any and all answers are appreciated.

Is her guardianship through dhs or was it privately arranged between her and the mom? If it is through dhs I would recommend contacting them. If not, is there any way that she can contact the mom? Is she wanting Goober to just meet the 1/2 sibs or is she interested in him/her being adopted by the same family?

It was done through the courts so I am guessing DHS. I will have to tell her to give them a call.
She wants to meet the siblings and for Goober to meet the siblings and for them to have a relationship if that is what everyone wants.
