AAI in Port Angeles or state
Hello,
My name is Lisa and I live in Tacoma. I have a question that I hope someone can help with. My husband and I are hoping to adopt a child or sibling group ages 0-4. we cannot decide whether to go through Adoption Advocates or directly thru the state foster to adopt. It seems that AAI has a great program but I have heard that private agencies do not get the 'first list' of children..does anyone know if this is true or not? Does the state look to their 'own homes'first? If anyone has any advice or experience in working with the state or AAI, please E-mail me privately at Stargazer_2635@Yahoo.com.
