Our Home Study is DONE!!!!
I just opened and am reading our completed home study!! O my gosh! It's time to start calling DHS workers to find us a child! I don't think I can wait for them to call us! I can't believe it! I feel like we've been in limbo the last couple of weeks.
WOO HOO!!

Congratulations!! Getting the homestudy is exciting and interesting. I thought it was crazy to read someone elses perspective on my life... kinda like a biography.
Get ready... I too am from Iowa and got a call the very next day after receiving my homestudy from a worker! Now I'm enjoying being a foster parent.

Congratulations! We are in Iowa too. We were licensed on Feb 18, 2003 and our now-adopted-daughter was placed with us on Feb 21, 2003. May you have a wonderful and positive journey as you embark on this new adventure! RM

Ours was done June 13th..
 BUUUTTT then they realized our Universal Precautions had been lost.  SO now our UP have been resumitted and we got the certifs back.. When I talked to Tina last week she said two (!) to four weeks!! I'm soooo excited!
