Hello...My name is Michelle. I am married and have 2 bio girls 13 and 15, and 1 step girl 19. 2 of the girls 13 and 19 live with us and we have 1 5 yr old FD.
Our FD has only been with us for a couple months and I don't know how long she will be with us.
She has some trauma and attachment behaviors along with other defiant behaviors. Wow has this been a challenge already!! Her behaviors start after her wkly visit and slow down a couple of days, then start over. She wants to make her own rules and refuses to follow directions or anyone elses rules. She bites, kicks, hits, screams, and vomits to get her own way! She says, "When I say I want it, I should it!" We have spoke with her CW and her therapist.
Now we need support and maybe some respite and there is little support to be found...

Hi. I do respite around Portland area and know of some waiting to adopt families without other kids in that area that could provide respite on the weekends. Are you close to Portland metro?
