liscenced in more than one county?
I live in a small county in central MN and have been licensed for almost 3 months. To date, we have not received any placements. I'm thinking it's because of the small county we live in and there just isn't a strong demand for foster homes.
My dh and I were wondering if we would be able to be licensed in more than one county? I don't want to call SS and ask them because I'm not sure if they would frown on the idea and who knows what would happen then. I know it should be a good thing that there isn't a need for us, that means fewer children are in a dangerous situation, but at the same time, we want to be parents - our home is ready and our hearts are waiting... Any suggestions?
