I am new to this so please excuse me.

I am in a situation with a family member that i need some help with. she is a 15 year old that has had a baby not quite a month ago. she had the child for about a week and he is not in the foster care system in the state of Colorado. her mother called me today and asked me if i would be willing to take the child in if she can not get him back. of course i told her yes he is family. what i am afraid of is this. i am currently on the centeral regestery in the state of NE. and have sent the letter to get that taken care of. after battleing with my Ex Husband in a nasty custody battle as well as a divorce the finding were inconclusive. my children spent about 3 months in fostercare there selves because i was in the process of moveing to a diffrent state. now if i was in the state of NE then i would have had them back with in the week that thay were taken. i did what ever thay asked of me. and i am now currently remarried and have a stable home. what i need help with is what i need to do to help my family member in gettiing the child placed with me so we can adopt him and keep him in our family. she is 15 and i do not want her to go threw the pain of not seeing her child grow. as i did when i was 18 years old. i know that my son is in a loving home but i still miss him very much. if there is some one who can help me please let me know thanks Maggie
