I just want to say to all of you out there in Alabama --- we know how you feel!!! My husband & I are currently foster parents in AL & although we have been relatively happy with our county's DHR (Russell County) it is still hard knowing what kind of a life that these kids go back to when they leave our home. My husband & I cannot have biological children & it hurts a great deal but we have been blessed with 6 foster kids so far that we love a great deal & we currently have 4 in our home including 2 newborns. We got one of them at 10 days & one at 2 days & we desperately want to adopt these babies although it will ultimately be left up to DHR & the judge whom I have a sinking feeling will go only for blood ties & not for what is truly the best for the children & thier futures. Right now I am feeling very sad about our legal system here in AL because of the outcomes of previous court rulings in this county & I cry about it & pray about it daily; I just pray that someday soon my husband will adopt these 2 precious angels & they will become a part of our family forever --- they're already a part of our hearts forever!!!! Keep the faith & KEEP PRAYING!!!
