This is a new forum for all parents that are fostering a child in the state of Nebraska or would like to. If you have fostered a child in the past in the state of Nebraska and would like to encourage foster parents for this state you are welcome to post on this forum as well.

Hi! My husband and I are about to begin the foster licensing process in NE. I was wondering if anyone is a foster parent and also a daycare provider. I do home daycare and we are a military family. I am currently not licensed as a daycare provider as I only have three children in my care. Any informations would be great!

Hey mamaD! I think this is the NE site right here. I just posted a few weeks ago but I was the first in a long time. We have not started the process for fostering yet but hope to soon. How long have you had your foster children? I have many questions. We have 4 bio children. Thanks for replying to my post.

Hi

I am up for all the support and advice I can get from fellow NE in this totally unfair system. NE gives these parents wayyyyyyyyyy too many chances. I hated the system before and the more I learn, the more I hate it.

We currently have a 3 and 5 year old sibling girls, who have a 1 and 2 yr old sis and bro in another foster home. We are 7 mo into the case and is still reunification.
