Hello, we are not foster parents but are looking for some information on adopting a baby in foster care. WE can not seem to find any babies that need adopted. only children older than about 2-3. ARe their ever foster parents of babies that do not want to adopt that child. WE can not afford an agency.. to find a birthmom.. Should we foster to adopt? I just wish i knew of a family who only wanted tp foster and then maybe we could adopt.. Ok, so i guess i am getting a little hopeless that we will never be able to adopt a little one. we would love a little girl.If you have any advice please e-mail it to me...... WE live in western PA. PLEASE HELP>>>> we just watn to give a good home to a baby.. WE do have a 13 month old little boy. I am a stay at home mom.thanks so much for listening...

I don't know about all the states, but I do know that Arkansas does get babies in which the foster parents aren't interested in adopting. My parents are foster parents there and they are pushing 50 so they have no interest in adopting but they have have 3 foster children 3 and under and they will probably be pushing for tpr within the next year on all three of them, only two of them are siblings. Hope that helps with ideas on where to look.

Thanks so much for hte reply. Since i Last posted we have adopted a baby girl, she is now 8 months old. We got her at 3 days old. WE are very blessed. I read that your parents are foster parents. that is great . WE are still interested in adopting out of foster care. Do you know if hte children are listed on the arkansas web page? (i think that was the state). Thanks so much please pm me if you can

I would also be interested in knowing this information. I work for CPS in Texas and can not foster to adopt I am only allowed to adopt. So I am researching other states.
