THE LONGEST PART IN THE WHOLE PROCESS IS WAITING FOR EACH STATE TO GET BACK TO EACH OTHER ON APPROVAL, AND THEY USUALLY APPROVE THEM, BUT ONCE YOU START VISITING WITH THE CHILD THE TIME WRAPS UP RATHER QUICKLY. ALSO PLEASE CHECK WITH THE CHILDS CASEWORKER ON IF AND HOW THEY WILL PAY FOR YOURE FAMILYS TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER EXPENSES WHILE VISITING. SOME STATES PAY UP FRONT OTHERS REIMBURSE AT TIME OF FINALIZATION. US (JDBRO) ADOPTIVE PARENTS OF 4 SOON TO BE 5 CHILDREN LAST THREE WERE FROM OUT OF STATE PLACEMENTS...WE WERE VERY PLEASED... ![]()
