readoption in arkansas
is there an arkansas adoptive parent board?
i have adopted a wonderful infant girl from guatemala. we came back on an ir3 visa which makes her automatically eligible for u.s. citizenship. i am planning to do a name change and or readoption in arkansas, mainly in order to get a state issued birth certificate. i would like help from anyone who has done this in arkansas. how does one accomplish this? thanks.

Hi, I am currently in the process of doing the same thing. I live on the Eastern side of AR and have found a few places that will do this. Most are in LR. If you'd like the names of the ones I've contacted, I'd be happy to share, just PM me.
You're the first person I've found that's adopted from Guatemala and is in AR. I have a son from Guatemala.  Best of luck,
