I am from Texas but I now I live in Oklahoma. I would consult all the agencies in Texas. Edna Gladney Home is a popular choice. Oklahoma has the Deaconess Home. When I started trying to adopt, I wrote every agency. We were turned down by over 50% due to long waiting list. Read everything you can get your hands on about adoptions. Contact an attorney. We applied with an agency called Project Adopt. Nine months later our daughter was born. She is now 18 and will be leaving for college. Time has flown by. I have loved every minute of our time together and look forward to the future. Good Luck. I will pray for you.
