Question on DES adoptions
My husband and I were certified earlier this year for a DES adoption. We have a 6 year old biological son already so we are looking to adopt a toddler. Our social worker (?) works in a the county north of us and the few kids we have heard about are from the county south of us. We have asked about other counties but are told that each does its own thing.
We even drove up north to an open house and the only case workers that presented there were from the county south of us. Has anyone run into a similar problem or does anyone have information on this? Thanks
