Hi,

My dh and I are waiting to be matched. We are working with a non profit agency. Just wanted to hear from some ohters in our situation. We completed our homestudy in 8/04 and have been waiting since 9/04.

i am not waiting, our son was born 9-04 but when we were waiting we did not just wait we continued to tell drs, family members, church members that we were interested in adoption and that is how we were matched not through the agency we were with

Thank you for the advice. We too have talked to church members, friends, family and drs. We hope that by letting everyone know that we are trying to adopt, it will help. I have an aquaintance that received a call from a hospital. A young girl was wanting to place her baby and the couple she had chosen backed out at the last minute. The girl's nurse knew of a couple who was waiting to be matched. So she made the connection. You just never know where you'll find your miracle.
