Petition to Blunt for Adoption Subsity, and Foster Parents!

We have got to try to stop this from happening!!! Help by doing your part, weather you are an adoptive parent or not.. Even if you just live in MO. Go and sign this petition!!!!

Missouri's children need your help! The Governor has proposed cuts to the adoption and subsidized guardianship programs. A statewide initiative is
underway to educate Legislators and the Governor on the devastating impact on "our" children if the program was eliminated. We need to let them know
that children deserve to be in a family and the cuts would destroy the chance for "our" kids to be adopted.

A March to Protect MO Children will take place on March 18th at 2:00 PM in Downtown St. Louis AND Kansas City. More details to come at www.protectmochildren.com If you care about children we hope to see you there.

Myself and my husband signed this petition. This is the second program that Governor Blunt proposed to cut that affects my children. First it was the First Steps Program and now this. He doesn't seem to have much empathy for children in need. I guess his children are well taken care of. If this gets passed, my guess is all of the other States will follow. All parents need to stick together to fight for all children. Thanks.

bumping and responding to rights. gov. blunt just had his first child this week. my guess is he just is not experienced enough to realize the needs of any child much less one with delays or other needs. glad you signed. e-mail the link to anyone else you think might sign also!!!

I also signed the petition. I am a Missouri resident and some day will be an adoptive parent, so I will do anything to help Missouri's children. Shay
