My DH and I both grew up in ND. We don't live there anymore but we have lots of family still there so we visit often. We've been waiting for a domestic adoption for 17 months.

Hi Gardenia-
I am in ND and waiting to adopt domestically. We started this process in I believe May of 2003. Our homestudy was completed in December of 2004. So we have been waiting about the same time. Feel free to PM me if you want to "chat". Lizee |

I am from ND also. A bit of history is that Dh and I have 1 son who we conceived naturally, however since then have not been able to conceive either naturally or with infertility treatments so we are now searching for adoption information. I am curious as to the experience of others in Noth Dakota. What agencies are reputible, what is the average wait, what is the average cost?
I have gotten some information from Catholic Family Services that I have read through, I would like some info from ppl going through the process. If this is not the right forum to be asking this please let me know - I am a newbie. Thanks in advance to those who reply! |
