New and seeking info/advice

I've been a lurker for several months, but this is my first official post to the boards. I am currently undergoing infertility treatments, but DH and I considering stopping them and pursuing an adoption from Guatemala. The problem is that I have no idea where to begin.

I have read many posts on the Guatemala adoption board, but it seems overwhelming to me right now. Is there anyone in KY who has gone through this process? I would greatly appreciate any information or advice. Thanks in advance.

I should have posted this sooner, but it just occured to me that you might try contacting a social worker or agency and having them put you in touch with families. We worked with Mary Kendall out of Owensboro as our homestudy agency; they work with families all over the state AND I'm sure they'd have reference families. You might also just PM a couple people on the Guatemala board who seem knowledgeable and friendly and start talking with them privately.
