Smile Advice on Older Child Adoption

My husband and I are in our early 40's would like to adopt a school-aged girl. We have a 10 year old daughter at home. We have our first information meeting tomorrow to learn about international adoption, but we may want to go with domestic adoption. Does anyone have words of wisdom they'd like to share? How do you decide? Many website articles have said that most couples go domestic for infants and international for older children. Are you happy with an agency in SE Wisconsin? Thanks so much!
