Question Change from International to Domestic?

Has anyone changed from an International Adoption to a domestic one? We did because we were just soo unsure about the health of those children and we were afraid it would distrupt the great family that we already have. We have signed up with a new agency to adopt an infant girl. Not sure about the wait, but can't be and worse than the accepting and loss of a child from another country...and comments?

Exclamation Similar situation

Hello!
My husband and I were preparing to go to Belarus when we received a call about 2 children going into fostercare. We quickly switched gears and are now the proud adoptive parents of a little boy and girl!!

A very dear friend proceeded with her adoption (from Russia) and thinks is was just great!

Everything works out for a reason -- domestic (foster/adot) was best for us and Russia was best for my friend. I hope that domestic is best for you!!!

Good Luck!
