My name is Amanda, I have twins sons (Christian and Christopher), and a pretty good husband (Henry). We have a pending adoption with the boys, but we got to be with them in the hospital. They knew they were loved when they were born. I am their biological aunt, but I love them like a mother should.
My older sister called me one night and told me I needed to come to the hospital and my younger sister had the twins but they wont make it through the night and I needed to say goodbye. My sister, the birthmom, was and still is on drugs real bad and the boys were 2 months premature. We travelled 83 miles to see the angels, when we got there believe it or not they were actually putting a tight grip on me and my husbands pinkys. Well we cried and said goodbye and had to go back home. The next morning I was too upset to go to work so I stayed home, when the phone woke me up. It was DSS and she wanted to know if we wanted to take one of the twins. I asked for both of them, she heard how we acted around them. Well the little blessing must have pulled through because I am a proud new momma of two spectacular boys. We lost a child with a miscarriage in 1999 and we never could concieve after that so the twins brought as much joy to us as we did to them. Well I wanna say more but I wind up jabbering. Im a stay at home mom and I love it.
