New To Adoption

Hello - We are new to the adoption process and live in NY. We are curious if anyone can recommend any reputable agencies for both Domestic and International adoption, however we are leaning more to domestic adoption. Interested in hearing about people's experience with different agencies. Any info would be appreciated. Thank You

My husband and I live in NYC and have just started the adoption process as well. We have completed our homestudy and have recently sent our profile to a lawyer in Jacksonville, Fla. We are using Michael Shorstein who is affiliated with First Coast Adoption Agency. Given that we have just started the process I don't have much to say about how it is going. But we did have a difficult time choosing an attorney, it felt like such a big decision given how closely you will work with that person. Who are you planning to use?
