I live in North Central Illinois (Dekalb County) and I’m looking into Homestudy options for my area. So far, the only “local” agency doesn’t offer homestudies unless you are contracted with them

Hey Brandy,

While I'm here on this thread, I thought I might suggest what we did for our HS - we had an adoption SW who works independently of any agency do ours, both for domestic and international. Perhaps you could look into that? We made sure that her HSs were accepted by area agencies and also by the international agency we chose to work with, and found that we had no problem with using the HS she wrote for either case.
