I am very sad tonight as I write this I was going to get to adopt a baby in January . I knew the birth mother she is a friend of the family . we went to all the dr. apointments and we even went to the hospital asnd had a tour . we saw the ultra sound preformed and picked out names for a girl or and a boy . and picked out furnature and the way we wanted the nursery . Well now the birth father has suddenly changed his mind about the adoption. I am just heart broken.

Coolbeans - big (((((hug)))). What you are going thru is tough. Alot of us have also been where you are to. It hurts. Many of us refer to this as an "adoption miscarriage". Just like in a physical miscarriage, you must allow and give yourself permission to grieve the loss.
