Question Homestudy Cheaper than $1500

Hi everyone, I am looking for someone to do a homestudy cheaper than $1500. Could anyone please PM me & let me know specifically who they used? I have heard you can use social services & it doesn't cost much but when I emailed about it they say they don't do adoption homestudies?? I am at my wits end trying to find someone who doesn't charge $1500-$1800 for a homestudy. I have seen people having homestudies done for only a few hundred dollars - HUGE difference.

Thanks

Marlene

Do you need an international homestudy or domestic and what part of the state are you in?

I was told by Social Services that they would only do my homestudy if we were adopting or fostering through them. So we opted to go with a private agency to do our homestudy.

For a domestic homestudy, I would think that it would be under $1500. I will pm you a name of a place I have called in the past that is near central Indiana. We did not use them because by the time we paid them mileage to come all the way up north, it would have cost us just the same to use the private agency.
Good luck,
Tammi
