It's a girl!
Just wanted to let my fellow Minnesotans know that after 3 years of trials and tribulations we brought home our new daughter Anna, June 17th. She was born on the 13th, in southern MN, eight days past the due date. Our dear bmom had to have a c-section and wasn't too happy with the anesthesia. DD was on oxygen for a while because of fluid in the lungs but is doing great now and getting bigger every day. Our consent period is over on July 6th but so far everything seems to be on track for a permanent placement.
Anna is adorable! Loads of long black hair and blue eyes (at least for now) Her birthfamily are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. Praise God! Best wishes for all of you still waiting.....it will happen some day. M

Congratulations
What wonderful news!!!! I'm so happy for you that your journey has now ended and your life can begin as a family. Congratulations on your beautiful daughter and I wish you a great and long lasting relationship with her bparents. This is an open adoption right? I just got that impression because you seem to speak so fondly of her.
