We just met with our sweet adorable bmom, she gave us the ultrasound of her baby boy. We are thrilled, and she is due April 20th and is dialated to a 3. The problem is the courts are very slow and we may not get to bring the baby home until he is 1 month old or older. I am trying to be sane but I dont know how I am going to be able to funtion normally when I know the son that both parents have terminated there rights on is still waiting in foster care because the courts would not quickly make an appointment for him to come into my home. The case worker says in some cases they hurry the adoptions along but not in this county. I am so grateful for this opportunity but devistated by the details.Has anyone had this happen, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Jolin
