Affordable domestic adoption of infant in North Carolina???

I am looking for an affordable way to adopt an orphaned infant. I have heard that that won't most likely be possible through DSS. Is there any affordable or no cost agency out there were I can adopt a healthy orphaned baby? Do agencies deal with orphaned babies????? Any advice would be SOOO appreciated!

Any "orphaned children" will be placed thru your states Social Services or Children’s Services department if they are domestic.

While its generally unlikely to get an infant placement thru the state who is free and clear for adoption, it is possible to have legal risk placements, who could become available for adoption.

i am trying to figure out the need for an orphaned infant. in this day there is hardly such a thing. there are childrened who are abondoned, but they become wards of the state and are put in foster homes until the birth parents rights are terminated or the bparents or relatives of the birth parents come forward.

there are plenty of chidren who need homes and are very free for adoption. or there are adoption agencies that specifically work with newborn adoption placement. you can also adopt independantly through a lawyer or you can foster infants and if one becomes available for adoption, you will have the option of adopting him/her. or you can adopt internationally but typically those children come home over 4-5 months old. i cannot think of any other options.
