I am pretty excited, I just wanted to share my thoughts and feelings. This weekend we went to Oregon to visit some freinds that just had a baby. This is there second one and I thought I would be kinda depressed since we still don't have any kids. But to my surprise I was even more excited than before about adopting. We are going to be going through the state program with AAI and though we know we wont be able to get a newborn probably I just can't wait to have a baby to hold of my own. We just finished our red cross classes, and are going to send in our paper work at the end of this week after I make some copies of the red cross training cards, and some pet vaccine docs they want. Once they receive that it's my understanding that all that is pretty much left is our home study wich should be complete by the end of the month. For now we are keeping busy during the wait time by decorating out "toddler room" since we are hoping to get a sib group of a infant and toddler. The nursery has been done for a few months now, and I am eager to start our new project. It seems like just yesterday I was one this forum just trying to get more info about adoption, and today, we are so close to being parents. Thanks for reading! Good luck to all, and Gos bless.
