Hey to all!! I'm also from Nebraska. My dh and I are hoping and dreaming about adopting either from Korea or right here in the good old US. We are still inquiring about finances, etc. Isn't it ashame that $ can get in the way of so many dreams for children to have families. Anyway, we recently became licensed through the NE foster/adopt PRIDE course. It's exciting, but so hard to wait. We decided not to foster at this time. It just doesn't work for us and our family unfortunately. If anyone knows how we can get info about Korean adoptions and the financial responsibility it entails, we would appreciate the help. I've contacted Holt International out of Omaha. Contacted NCHS today, but I'm sorta scared of the response from them as we have two bio boys of our own. Does that and should that matter??? We have dreamed about this for about 10 years now. We actually began the search before we were married 7 1/2 years ago. Then we were pregnant shortly after the marriage. We would so love a little girl to help complete our family. We finally own a home with lots of room, we have a loving/stable relationship, it just seems like the right time. What a blessing to be at this point in life. I am anxious to get to know you all . Thanks for reading.
