One of the agencies we are talking with told me that on Nov. 15th at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue there will be an Adoption Fair between the hours of 9am - 1pm. Most of the agencies in the state will be there with booths and information. There will also be seminars held through out the day. She said it would be a great place to get information and meet people in the same situation. She recomeded that anyone who can, no matter where you are in the process, try and attend.

WOW am I sorry I missed your post in November! I would love to attend something like this. Do you know of any other "fairs" being held or how I might check into this it sounds like a great way for me to move forward. Any help much appreciated. Anne

Check with Overlake--but I went to one of these years and years ago and my recollection is that they occur on a fairly regular basis--two to three times a year I believe.
