Adoption question
My husband and I are at the very beginning of our adoption journey. We have done alot of researching about the new life we hope to bring into our loving home. We have run into a "snag." My husband has a past record of DUI arrests. I was informed by an agency that if his record is a DUI misdemeanor we will have to wait for three years to apply to an agency, but if it is a DUI felony we will have to wait ten years before we can apply to an agency. But then a few days later a representative from that agency called us and told us to contact the local home study agencies around our area to find out if they have any ways to help us through this "snag." If anyone has any information that they think could help us in our dream to adopt please write me back.
Thank you for your time and information~ Mussy |

I would contact someone that is going to do your home study. I know when we had our home study done they mentioned things that affect it and that aren't that big of deal if they find something.
